Two days after the Gujarat HSC general stream results were published and heavy rush of students was seen at almost every college which offers BCA or BBA course in Ahmedabad.
University authorities failed to provide sufficient number of Admission forms at all the colleges of the city. Students and parents had to run from one college to the other in the hope to get forms from some place.
As no college has mechanism to handle huge rush, students and parents were forced to face vandalism and stand in queue in the hot summer in open grounds of these colleges.
Forms submission would start from Sunday and many students do not have forms to be submitted to the college of their choice.
Parents were praying that media would raise voice pressurise Gujarat University to provide relief by either extending dates for form submission or making available enough number of forms.
If Gujarat University and Colleges can not handle properly, they should have given 5 or 6 forms to each student at their schools.
