Infrastructure Ltd said it was entering the solar power area with a 25-mw photovoltaic plant to be set up in Gujarat. The Gujarat Government has approved the proposal, it said in a note to the stock exchanges.

Now, the GoG plans to develop 3,000 MW solar energy capacity in the next five years.
